Jens von Wichtingen: "I wasn't there!"

German media report that several hundred Nazis were terrorizing migrants in Kreuzberg on Saturday. Kreuzberg is the part of the capital Berlin with the most migrant residents. According to witnesses they were protected by German police that hindered citizens from protests against the violent Nazi group which had their demonstration cleared by the police. However, the police had kept their demonstration secret and obviously endangered the migrant population: While demonstrating the Nazis attacked Turkish migrants with explosives. Several people were injured, no Nazi was arrested.

Asked about this demonstration, Jens von Wichtingen claimed he had not attended. Though obviously proud of the action he told us on the phone: "I was in Cape Town. I have witnesses who can confirm zat. Besides, as far as I know no comrades from ze Kameradschaft Gera was there. I don't know zie other guys. But you should accept once and for all: Germany is an occupied country. However, we Germans have ze right to demonstrate whenever we want!"

Mr. von Wichtingen lost no word about the injured migrants.
